Rant of the day...

I have a USB headset that I used to use when I played World of Warcraft on the computer; so I could talk with the other players while I played the game (kinda like a conference call). The headset I used was a Logitech Clearchat model A-00009.

Well, a couple years ago, the USB connector got broken.

I stopped playing WoW shortly after I broke my headset, due to my health issues, and have'nt bothered to get it fixed or replace it.

Now that my health is improving, I want to fix the headset so I can use it again. I would like to replace the USB connector with a 1/8th inch jack that will work with my Blackberry.

But, I haven't got the knowledge or skill with electronics to do it myself.

This way I can have a good set of stereo headphones for listening to music, video, and audiobooks as well as a microphone that I can use as a hands free device with my phone.

Unfortunately, as I said, I know nothing about electronics/wiring, and my current health condition makes learning this new "stuff" a challenge to say the least. I don't even know if the connectors are compatible. Although, logic says they should be. After all, both headsets support mic input, stereo audio output and they both have a little switch that allows one to pause/mute/hold a conversation.

Oh well... If/when I can bring it to BJW Electronics, hopefully they can fix it up. Or at least lead me to someone who can.
